Who Is Answering Your Steam Broadcast Chat?
A prerecorded video can run unattended. A promise of a live developer conversation cannot.
A common question I get asked is should we ENABLE PUBLIC CHAT on Broadcastloop videos. My answer is always... I wouldn't.
Here is the thing, Broadcastloop runs 24/7, unattended (In a loop) and as such you are not able to moderate the comments. Your comment section could turn into a dumpster fire quickly as well as a player asking whether your game supports local co-op. The video keeps playing. Ten minutes later they ask again, then leave. There is nothing inherently wrong with a replay, but there is a problem if the presentation implied a developer was there to answer. I would make the format clear and decide what kind of chat support the team can genuinely provide.

When you do have a live OBS broadcast going
Decide who handles abuse, who answers product questions and who escalates technical problems. One person can do several jobs during a small session, but they should know which task takes priority.
Valve's broadcast moderation documentation explains moderator controls and the separate chat view. Test access before an event rather than assuming a colleague has the necessary permissions.
Prepare answers that do not invent commitments
List the recurring questions: release status, supported modes, demo scope, languages, controllers and where to report a bug. Use verified current answers.
For an uncertain feature, a useful response may simply say it is not confirmed. Do not let an enthusiastic moderator promise console ports or a release date because the conversation feels awkward without an answer.
I would also prepare a short route for support questions that need private information. Public chat is not the place to request account details, logs containing personal information or purchase records.
Moderate behaviour, not disagreement
Someone saying the interface looks confusing is giving an opinion about the game. Someone repeatedly harassing other viewers is creating a moderation problem. Treating those as the same thing makes chat less trustworthy.
Respond briefly when a factual correction helps. Do not turn a broadcast into an argument over whether a viewer is allowed to dislike the design.
If a discussion is consuming the moderator's attention, move the technical detail to an appropriate support thread while keeping the public answer clear. Record recurring questions for the next store-page revision.
Plan the unattended periods
If the video continues after staff leave, hop onto Broadcastloop. BroadcastLoop and playt the prepared video with Chatting Off.
